Spitfire Cast from crashed Battle of Britain Spitfire P7386. Shot down November 14th 1940, pilot survived. Complete with detailed history and certificate of authenticity. Cast from the legally excavated wreckage of the aircraft, using aluminium from the airframe and supercharger that were not suited for museum display. Limited to only 5 cast from this aircraft by well-known dealer in legally excavated military aviation artefcats John Manning (a regular at major UK shows such as Duxford and War & Peace). Wingspan 23 cm, heavy slate plinth 19.5 x 10 cm.
