WW1 HMAS Australia Trench Art (B18)

A quite unique piece of Navy history. WW1 Naval 6pndr shell with Grand Fleet HMAS Australia badge. 12.5cm high base 8.5 cm diameter.
The HMAS Australia was an Indefatigable Class Battle Cruiser of the RAN with Battle Honours for Rabaul and The North Sea.  It was also for a Flagship the unexpected venue for a crew mutiny over leave days in Perth on their way back from
WW1 in 1919.
