WW2 Dutch East Indies KNIL Milsco made Helmet

A scarce Dutch East Indies WW2 tropical steel helmet with neck flap. After Holland was occupied by the Germans helmets to supply their Dutch East Indies (now Indonesia) KNIL units (a mix of Dutch and local troops) had to be made in the US by Milsco. In 1942 the bulk of KNIL forces were killed or captured by the Japanese and so helmets like these that belonged to soldiers that managed to flee to Australia are unusual items.
