WW2 German Close Combat Clasp

Close Combat Clasp (Nahkampfspange). Clearly maker marked on the rear, magnetic iron core section, very nice condition other than having the C catch missing as pictured.
 
This was an award instituted on 25 November 1942 for participation in hand to hand combat at close quarters. Awarded to mostly Infantry, Waffen SS and ground units of the Luftwaffe including Falschirmjager.
