Even if you live in QLD or WA, or have licenses and exemptions in other States or Territories some simple common-sense rules are a must:

NEVER TAKE A REPLICA / ANYTHING THAT LOOKS LIKE A REAL WEAPON OUT IN PUBLIC WITHOUT A LAWFUL EXCUSE
DISPLAY AND SECURE THEM IN SUCH A WAY SO AS TO NOT CAUSE PUBLIC ALARM
EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE NON-FIRING REPLICAS, ENCOURAGE FIREARM SAFE HANDLING TO INCULCATE GOOD HABITS FOR THOSE WHO MAY ONE DAY HANDLE THE REAL THING
Responsible ownership, display and handling or replica pistols and other replica weapons will encourage those States with fair regulations to keep them in place, and perhaps encourage those with stricter regulations to gradually see the benefits of safe collecting.
Failure to do so can mean a tougher time for law-abiding collectors, and fines and even gaol time for those who do the wrong thing.
Before buying a replica weapon of any form it is critical to do your homework and ensure that you are in 100% compliance with your own State or Territory law first.
