Military rarities, curios, trench art and novelties
Occasionally we come across a real one of a kind military rarity that we are happy to part with.
The history of war and armed conflict is also filled with the art and initiative of individual soldiers with time to kill turning more banal artifacts of war into what is known as “trench art”. Shell casings and unit badges in various combinations are the most common form of trench art.
Nations, fund raising groups and individual units have often also produced a weird assortment of toys, figures, bottle openers and other items that are increasingly becoming collectible in their own right.
