The Teaser Trailer for the soon to be released film 'Primitive War' has just been released and Sabre were delighted to work on this as the Film Armourers.

It was wonderful to work on this exciting film as Armourers and Advisors with some of the Sabre team even making it into the movie as extras. A clever adaptation of the novels and graphic novels of Ethan Pettus, Primitive War is a breath of fresh air as an original film concept.

A team of elite US Army LRRP (Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol) soldiers go on a deadly journey in search of missing Green Berets in late 1968. They find not only what's left of the Green Berets, but also deadly Viet Cong, some eccentric Soviet Scientists, Soviet Advisors and really big and terrifying Dinosaurs.

A genuinely gritty R Rated Dino film like is also a genuine first. The Vietnam War and Dinosaurs, what's not to love?

Plenty of LRRP's, Green Berets, CIA Spooks, VC and Russian advisors using their M16's, XM177's, M60's, AK's, blades, grenades and claymores trying to take each other down and attempting to keep a host of terrifying dinosaurs at bay.

It was also wonderful to work hand in hand with our mates from Brigade Film Services, the military costuming experts, and our crazy Yank buddies Freddie Joe Farnsworth and Robert Garcia from the Hollywood based ‘Devil Dog’ stunts and military advisory team.

Many members of the Sabre team including Tal, Jarrod, Meg, Fen, Keiron, Reece, Balin, Saxon, Cam and Ash will have lasting memories of their time in the mud, rain and sodden jungle depths of the Gold Coast Hinterland during the long days and nights on this one.

We cannot wait to see this highly original film hit the big screen soon.
