WW1 German 1916/17 Infantry Manual (G1033)

Title: WWI 1916/17 Imperial German Infantry Manual – Der gute Kamerad (Bavarian War Edition)
Description:
An authentic piece of World War I military history, this 1916/1917 War Edition (Kriegsausgabe) of Der gute Kamerad (The Good Comrade) served as the official service and training manual for Imperial German Army infantry recruits.
This scarce 21st revised edition is specifically tailored as the Bavarian Variant (Ausgabe für Bayern), updated by Lieutenant Colonel O. Brunner of the 2nd Royal Bavarian Reserve Infantry Regiment. It includes a valuable specialized wartime appendix explicitly written for Machine Gun Companies (Maschinengewehr-Kompagnien).
Richly illustrated with diagrams, tactics, and instructional text, this paper-covered manual offers a fascinating, unfiltered look into the daily training, equipment, and frontline expectations of German soldiers during the Great War.
Condition: Good vintage condition for its age. Exhibits expected wartime handling wear, including spotting, cover creasing, and spine fraying. Complete with all text and illustrative plates readable. Perfect for militaria collectors, WWI historians, or buyers of rare German ephemera.
