The Gold Coast Light Horse Education Museum keeps the ANZAC Spirit Alive.

Several of the Sabre team volunteer at this wonderful local Light Horse Museum. It does a sensational job of keeping the ANZAC Spirit and Light Horse History alive.

The Mudgeeraba area was a great source of skilled horsemen for the 2nd Light Horse and many locals went to WW1 and served with the Regiment.  As Sabre is a proud local Mudgeeraba business, and one of the Directors having served with the modern Australian Army 2nd/14th Light Horse Regiment RAAC, we are proud to support it in every way we can.

In an age where patriotism and loyalty to country seems to be getting a bad wrap, this organisation are actively fighting to inculcate a better understanding of our shared history and a healthy respect for the nation of Australia and its history with younger generations.

Their work deserves to be acknowledged and thoroughly supported.

The Gold Coast Light Horse Education Museum Complex is a proudly ex-Serviceman and volunteer run heritage collaboration.

It is an award-winning provider of tailored patriotic educational programmes that cover important aspects of Australian military and local history to schools and community groups. The programme is fully aligned to the Australian National Curriculum.

The Museum is open to School and Group Bookings by Appointment and to the general public Sundays 9am - 1pm and Wednesdays 9am - 12.00pm.

The museum complex is is also usually open when large events occur at the Mudgeeraba Showgrounds such as the Mudgeeraba Show.
